Welcome to the Helpdesk

Congratulations you’ve made it to the University of Alberta’s Helpdesk.  This probably means your Internet is working, but maybe there’s another problem you’re having.  To find a solution you can browse through our Tutorials by using the tabs at the top of the page and the menu on the left side.  Or if your problem has made you tired of dealing with computers maybe you’d like a bit more personal help.  You can talk to one of our analysts by clicking the “Live Chat” button, Calling us at 492-9400, or coming in person to the Helpdesk.  We’re located on the third floor of the General Services Building.

Gmail

In an effort to simplify email infrastructure at the University of Alberta the Vice-Provost Information Technology has started an initiative to centralize all email services at the U of A.  The current solution being pursued is host email services with Gmail.  To find out more about this initiative please visit http://www.vpit.ualberta.ca/email.
