Having Trouble?
Quick Checks
- Time and Date: If the time and date on our computer is significantly different than the current time and date, your computer will not be able to connect to UWS.
- CCID and Password: If cannot connect because you are constantly being asked for your credentials, there might be a problem with your CCID. Contact us for help with this or visit https://password.srv.ualberta.ca/test from a computer with an internet connection to test your CCID password.
- Third Party Software: If the software you use to connect to wireless looks different than the pictures from the tutorials, then you are probably third property software to connect to wireless. If you are able, we recommend turning off the software. Feel free to stop by the Helpdesk if you need help with this troubleshooting step.
- Drivers: If you are able, ensure sure the drivers for your wireless card are up to date. Feel free to stop by the Helpdesk if you need help with this troubleshooting step.
