Accessing Gmail for Education
Gmail can be accessed from your computer or handheld device using an email program or a web browser. This section will cover setting up access to your Gmail account using the most common email programs and with the most common handheld devices. If your preferred program or handheld device is not listed, you can use the settings below. To get the most of Google Apps for Education we recommend accessing it from the web site.

Before you begin
There are a few steps that you must take before you try to access Gmail
- Make sure you have opted-in
- Change your password
- Enable server access
Set Up an Email Program
Choose this for instructions on setting up access with the following email programs:
- Microsoft Outlook 2007

- Mail (Mac OS X)
- Microsoft Entourage 2008
