Authenticating your handheld device
Authenticating to UWS
Handheld devices that support 802.1x authentication can connect to UWS.
Authenticating to UAlbertaWireless
As with any user who wishes to connect to the ualbertawireless network, you will need to authenticate (to host 10.0.0.1) in order to have network access. You'll need an SSH client in order to do so.
- PocketPC users are recommended to use PocketPuTTY, available at:
http://pocketputty.net.
- There are a number of third party ssh clients available at
http://freessh.org/other.html, including those for Palm and Blackberry.
- At this time the IPhone/IPod Touch cannot connect to ualbertawirelss.
